Getting Started

Choose the right model and understand the basics.

What is a YHE BP Doctor smartwatch?

BP Doctor is a blood pressure smartwatch with an inflatable wrist cuff.

When you start a blood pressure measurement, the cuff inflates around your wrist. The watch detects pressure changes caused by your heartbeat and calculates the blood pressure result.

Other health and smartwatch functions vary by model.

Which BP Doctor model should I choose?

BP Doctor Fit: the core inflatable-cuff BP experience with a large 1.9-inch display.

BP Doctor Ultra: a redesigned interface and finish with included Premium App benefits.

BP Doctor Med: a more blood-pressure-focused model with a dual inflatable cuff design.

Does BP Doctor measure blood pressure automatically all day?

No. Blood pressure measurements are on-demand. You start a reading when you want to check your blood pressure.

Some models support measurement reminders, but a reminder is not continuous automatic blood pressure measurement.

What wrist size do I need?

Fit / Ultra: approximately 14-22 cm (5.5-8.7 in).

Med: approximately 14-20 cm (5.5-7.8 in).

Correct wrist fit matters because the inflatable cuff needs even contact with your wrist during measurement.
Is BP Doctor waterproof? Can I shower or swim with it?

Do not swim, shower or bathe while wearing a BP Doctor smartwatch.

BP Doctor Med has IP22 protection, but it is not designed for swimming, showering or immersion.

Always make sure the watch and charging contacts are completely dry before charging.
Can BP Doctor replace my doctor or medical care?

No. Blood pressure readings should be considered together with your overall health information.

Do not use one watch reading by itself to diagnose a condition or change medication. If your readings repeatedly concern you, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.

Blood Pressure Measurement

Correct wearing and posture can make a major difference.

How do I take a blood pressure reading correctly?
  1. Sit down and relax.
  2. Wear the watch directly on your bare wrist.
  3. Make sure the inflatable cuff is snug and flat.
  4. Support your arm.
  5. Bring the wrist toward your chest.
  6. Keep the watch approximately at heart level.
  7. Relax your hand.
  8. Do not talk or move.
  9. Wait until the measurement finishes.
Easy reminder: REST -> FIT -> LEVEL -> RELAX -> STILL.
Where should I position the watch on my wrist?

For Fit / Ultra, position the watch approximately two finger-widths from the base of your palm.

Wear it directly on bare skin. The inflatable cuff should sit evenly against the wrist without folding or twisting.

How tight should the watch be during a BP measurement?

The watch should feel snug and secure during blood pressure measurement.

If the strap is too loose, the cuff may not get a stable pressure signal. If a measurement repeatedly fails, tighten the strap slightly and try again after resting.

For normal daily wear when you are not measuring blood pressure, the strap can be slightly looser.

Why must my wrist be at heart level?

Wrist height can affect a blood pressure measurement.

Sit comfortably, support your elbow and bring the wrist wearing the watch toward your chest.

Keep the watch approximately at the same height as your heart.
What should I avoid before measuring?

Avoid measuring immediately after vigorous exercise, smoking, alcohol, a large meal or strong emotional stress.

Fit / Ultra instructions recommend avoiding vigorous exercise, smoking, drinking and strong emotional changes for around 30 minutes before measurement.

Med instructions recommend resting quietly for at least 15 minutes before measurement.

Can I talk or move during a blood pressure measurement?

No. Stay quiet and still until the measurement finishes.

Do not talk, shake your arm, clench your fist, bend your wrist or change your sitting position while the cuff is measuring.

How long should I wait before taking another reading?

Fit / Ultra: wait approximately 2-3 minutes.

Med: wait at least 3 minutes.

Relax the cuff and stay calm instead of immediately repeating measurements one after another.

Readings & Accuracy

Understand normal variation before assuming the watch is faulty.

Why are my blood pressure readings different each time?

Blood pressure is not one fixed number. It can change with time of day, exercise, stress, food, alcohol, smoking, temperature, body position, wrist position, talking and movement.

Try to measure under similar conditions and look at your trend over time rather than one reading.

Why is BP Doctor different from my upper-arm monitor?

Wrist and upper-arm devices measure blood pressure from different locations. Timing, posture, wrist height and cuff fit can also affect the comparison.

  1. Sit quietly first.
  2. Use both devices according to their instructions.
  3. Keep the BP Doctor wrist at heart level.
  4. Make sure the BP Doctor cuff is snug.
  5. Do not talk or move.
  6. Compare several readings rather than one result.

If a large difference continues across repeated correctly performed measurements, contact YHE Support.

My BP result is much higher or lower than expected. What should I do?
  • Wrist level: Is the watch at heart level?
  • Fit: Is the cuff snug and flat?
  • Posture: Are you sitting and relaxed?
  • Movement: Did you talk or move?
  • Timing: Did you just exercise, eat, smoke or drink?

Rest, wait a few minutes and measure again correctly.

If unusual readings repeatedly concern you, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.

Errors & Inflatable Cuff

Fix common measurement failures before contacting support.

The watch says "Fasten Strap" or will not finish a measurement.

This usually means the watch is not receiving a stable signal.

  1. Wear the watch directly on bare skin.
  2. Tighten the strap slightly.
  3. Make sure the cuff is flat.
  4. Sit and relax.
  5. Keep your wrist at heart level.
  6. Stay quiet and completely still.
  7. Try again after resting.

If the problem continues repeatedly, contact Support.

My watch shows Code 4. What should I do?

First check whether the watch is inflating and whether the cuff is correctly positioned.

  1. Make sure the cuff begins inflating.
  2. Tighten the strap slightly.
  3. Check that the cuff is not folded or damaged.
  4. Keep your wrist at heart level.
  5. Stay completely still and quiet.
  6. Restart the watch.
  7. Rest and try one more measurement.
Code 4 has appeared in customer support cases, but it is not listed in the current Med manual error-code table.

If Code 4 continues, send Support your order number, watch model, SN number and a short video showing the full failed measurement.

The inflatable cuff does not inflate at all.
  1. Stop the current measurement.
  2. Restart the watch.
  3. Try one new measurement.
  4. Check that the cuff is not visibly folded, torn or disconnected.

If you do not hear or feel any inflation, the watch may require hardware support.

Do not open or attempt to repair the pump or cuff yourself.

Send Support a short video showing what happens after you press Start.

The cuff inflates, then stops and shows an error.

The watch may not be receiving a stable pressure or pulse signal.

  • Check strap tightness.
  • Check cuff position.
  • Keep the wrist at heart level.
  • Do not talk or move.
  • Relax your hand and do not clench your fist.

Rest for a few minutes and try again. If the same problem repeats with correct use, contact Support.

What do BP Doctor Med error codes mean?

Code 1: Weak data signal. Adjust wristband fit and position.

Code 9: Pulse-wave signal could not be captured. Tighten and reposition the watch.

Code 12: Band may be too loose or cuff pressure is unsuitable. Tighten and retry.

Code 21 / 22: Pressure signal is outside the measurement range or affected by position or interference. Check wearing position and remain still.

Code 25: Unstable signal. Stay completely still.

Code 27 / 28 / 29: Abnormal measurement or pressure condition. Adjust the watch, rest and retry.

Code 30 / 31: Poor or unstable pressure signal. Adjust wristband tightness and position.

My watch will not charge. What should I check?
  • Make sure the charging contacts are clean and dry.
  • Make sure the cable is fully connected.
  • Test the USB power source.
  • Make sure the charger is correctly aligned.
  • Check that the charging pins are not visibly damaged.

For magnetic charging models, gently reposition the charging dock until the charging indicator appears.

Why is my battery draining faster than expected?

Battery life varies with BP measurements, display brightness, always-on display, Bluetooth use, notifications, workout tracking and App synchronization.

Fit / Ultra: up to approximately 10 days depending on use.

Med: up to approximately 7 days depending on use.

If a fully charged watch suddenly lasts only a very short time, contact Support.

My inflatable cuff is damaged. Can it be replaced?

Do not continue using a visibly damaged inflatable cuff for blood pressure measurements.

Replacement cuff accessories are available for some BP Doctor models. Confirm compatibility with your exact model before ordering.

The watch keeps restarting, freezing or turning itself off.

Fully charge the watch first, restart it and observe whether the problem returns.

If the watch repeatedly restarts, freezes, shuts down or resets settings, contact Support with your SN number and a short video.
