WHY MED
Built Around a Dual-Cuff Design
Med integrates two inflatable cuff sections around the wrist, making blood pressure measurement the center of its hardware design.

Dual Air Cuffs
Two integrated air cuffs are built into the band to support wrist-based blood pressure measurement during each reading.
Wrist Contact Area
This is the part of the cuff system that sits against the wrist. A secure, even fit helps keep the measurement position stable during use.
Watch Body
The watch body brings together the display, controls, and core measurement hardware in one wearable device designed for everyday use.

Steps 1
Wear It in the Right Spot
Place the watch about two fingers from the base of your palm. Keep the cuff flat against your wrist.
STEP 2
Keep Your Wrist at Heart Level
Sit comfortably and bring your wrist to the same height as your heart. Support your arm and stay relaxed.
STEP 3
Stay Quiet and Still
Keep your body relaxed, feet flat on the floor, and do not talk or move while measuring.
WRIST FIT MATTERS
Use the included wrist measuring scale to find the appropriate wearing position and strap setting before taking a BP reading.

Secure Fit
Wear the watch about two fingers from the base of your palm. Keep the cuff flat, aligned, and in full contact with your wrist.

Too Loose
If the watch feels loose or readings vary widely, tighten the strap by one or two holes for more stable contact.

Too Tight
Avoid tightening more than needed. The cuff should sit securely against your wrist without folding, shifting, or pressing unevenly.
BP Doctor Med FAQ
Find answers to common questions about blood pressure measurement, setup, calibration, troubleshooting and everyday use.
No. BP Doctor Med does not continuously monitor blood pressure in the background.
Blood pressure measurements are started on demand. When you begin a measurement, the built-in cuffs automatically inflate and deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse are displayed after the measurement is complete.
This means Med is designed for intentional wrist BP checks rather than passive 24/7 blood pressure tracking. The Y006 manual instructs users to start a measurement from the watch and read the result after the measurement finishes.
No user calibration step is described in the BP Doctor Med Y006 manual.
Med uses built-in inflatable wrist cuffs and the oscillometric measurement method. You can take a measurement directly from the watch after wearing it correctly.
For consistent readings, correct wrist fit, heart-level positioning and remaining still during measurement are important. The manual specifies an oscillometric measurement method and automatic cuff inflation
A smartphone is not required to take an individual BP reading. The BP Doctor App is useful for reviewing synced measurement history and supported health information, but the actual cuff measurement is performed by the watch itself.
Blood pressure naturally changes throughout the day, and measurement conditions can also affect wrist readings.
Before measuring, sit quietly and relax. Wear Med directly on your bare wrist, keep the watch at heart level, and avoid talking or moving until the measurement is complete.
Recent exercise, meals, caffeine, smoking, bathing and other everyday conditions may temporarily affect blood pressure. The Med manual specifically highlights these factors when explaining measurement conditions.
If you need to repeat a measurement, allow at least 3 minutes between readings.
The Med manual also recommends resting before measuring and staying quiet and stable during the measurement. Avoid taking repeated measurements continuously without allowing your wrist time to relax.
First check your wearing position and remain completely still during the measurement.
Measurement errors can occur when the wristband is too loose, the pressure signal is unstable, the pulse-wave signal cannot be captured properly, or movement interferes with the reading.
Try these steps:
The Y006 manual's troubleshooting section identifies wearing position, unstable pressure signals and signal-capture issues among common causes of failed measurements.
The Med manual states that the product should not be used by people under 18 and should not be used during pregnancy or pre-eclampsia. If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether wrist BP monitoring is appropriate for you, consult a healthcare professional before use.
No. Blood pressure readings should be used as health information and interpreted in the context of your individual condition.
Do not change medication or make treatment decisions based only on a smartwatch reading. If you receive unusual readings, have symptoms, or are managing a diagnosed condition, discuss the results with a qualified healthcare professional. The Med manual describes its readings as being for diagnostic reference and advises professional interpretation where appropriate.
