No. BP Doctor Med does not continuously monitor blood pressure in the background.
Blood pressure measurements are started on demand. When you begin a measurement, the built-in cuffs automatically inflate and deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse are displayed after the measurement is complete.
This means Med is designed for intentional wrist BP checks rather than passive 24/7 blood pressure tracking. The Y006 manual instructs users to start a measurement from the watch and read the result after the measurement finishes.
No user calibration step is described in the BP Doctor Med Y006 manual.
